We have heard for years and years, how video games such as Xbox 360, Xbox, PS3, PS2, PS, Nintendo Wii, Gamecube, Dreamcast and even PC games are bad for our kids.It will make them do hostile actions ("they would say").
But studies show, in some cases that may be true but in most it isn't.It has shown that most hardcore gamers do not exhibit bad behavior in life.
Playing video games such as the Xbox360, Xbox, PS3, PS2, PS, Nintendo Wii, Dreamcast, Gamecabe and even PC games have many good effects:
1)they give entertainment
2)teach teamwork and cooperation when playing with others
3)they teach self confidence in one's self
4)build up self esteem
5)good exercise for the brain, body, and visal skills
Reseachers said that video game players have a better visual attention ability than non video game players.
So video games for good for the kids. The only thing it's not good for is the pocket book. I mean:
$75 to $200 per Xbox 360 game
$30 to $90 per Xbox game
$30 to$160 per PS3 game
$20 to $50 per PS2 game
$20 to $50 per PS game
$40 to $160 per Nintendo Wii game
$20 per Gamecube and Dreamcast game
Your probably saying or thinking I know this,Why are you telling me this?
Because after playing the games that research has shown can to be good for our kids, they get scratched, worn out (because it is there favorite) or even lost.
Then comes cost of buying the games again. The games that cost $75 to $200 to start with (just for one game),which is really hard with money problem we are all facing right now.
But the answer to that problem is, when you buy a new game or one you already have that is still in good working conduction. COPY IT !!!!
